We Race Trials Wednesday

"Attention... ... ... enh...
....you guys can just sit there till Wednesday"

It is the eve of something exciting.

Tune in to this link to watch video of our final LIVE this Wednesday, July 11th at 8:20 AM EST, or 5:20 AM for you very committed West Coast fans.  I'm racing in the Light Men's Quad, and our race is uncontested, meaning that the other entries decided against racing us for a spot on the US Team.  If we row down the course we will seal our spot on the US Senior Non-Olympic Worlds Team, but we're not there yet.

Without giving too much away, we plan on racing to our full ability.  If we're going to race down the course alone, might as well do it in style.  Stay tuned immediately following our piece to watch the race between Vesper and CRI/Riverside's Light Men's Eights in the race following ours, at 8:30 AM.  Andrew Hashway will be the in CRI boat as well as two Dartmouth Lightweight Crew alums Phil Grisdela '12 and Nick Dawe '10.  God Speed to them and their crew.  They have a very good coach in Bruce Smith, who worked with me in 2010 to achieve my best ever results in the single, including winning bronze at the 2010 Head of the Charles Regatta in the Light Men's Single.  Another D150, Phil Henson '11, is racing in the Light Men's Pair at 7:40 AM, hope he has a great race.
