Arrival in Korea!

We got middle seats on the long leg of the
journey - Woop!

 ...and we are HERE! Incredible so far.  Painless getting the oars on board with us, safe travels despite delays out of Philly, great and accommodating hotel staff, delicious, simple, nutritious food, incredibly clean and comfortable rooms, great teammates, and not too-bad travel fatigue.  Rolled out on our foam rollers and settled into our A/C rooms listening to crickets beyond the balconies.  Ran into none other than USA Light Men's Four fixture and Dartmouth 150 '08 classmate and friend Anthony Fahden on our way to a late dinner.  Anthony - so good to see you again my friend.  Andy, Shane, Colin and myself ate well (great job by the hotel responding brilliantly to our needs as healthy hungry athletes).  Coach Mac hopefully will arrive soon - have not heard from him yet and he took a later flight.  We could not be better taken care of in the means of creature comforts or smooth traveling.  Pleasantly surprised by all the Facebook support today - and might as well round out a great day of travel with another shameless plug to support our light quad if you have not done so already.  If you ARE one of the outstanding individuals or families who has chosen to help us get here - thank you beyond words.  And please, send us your snail mail so we can personally thank you!

at the regatta whatsoever.  Summer bummer!
So... we panicked and brought all our own.
Nuts, trail mix, chocolate, cereal, clif bars,
gatorade, red bull...

Wired, but should get to bed.

Tomorrow plan: Rig-a-thon in the morning at our leisure, and a row in the evening, to stretch our legs on the course.  Cannot wait to get out there.
